It was a big day for Jarell Martin and Justinian Jessup on the final day of the NBA Summer League on Wednesday.
Martin, who will be returning to the Sydney Kings for NBL22, played his best game of the Summer League in the Utah Jazz’s loss to the Sacramento Kings. The 27-year-old recorded 23 points, 12 rebounds, four assists and four steals for the Jazz to end his Summer League campaign on a high note.

NBL Next Star Justinian Jessup nailed four of his seven three-point attempts for the Golden State Warriors in their loss to the Los Angeles Lakers. The Illawarra Hawks NBL Next Star finished with a team high 18 points.
The Warriors still own Jessup’s NBA rights and he could earn a spot in their upcoming training camp ahead of the new season.

Vic Law fell one rebound shy of a double-double for the Lakers, as the former Brisbane Bullets import had 11 points and nine rebounds on Wednesday.
Former NBL Next Stars Brian Bowen Jr and Didi Louzada went head-to-head to end their Summer Leagues, with Bowen amassing seven points and six rebounds for the Minnesota Timberwolves and Louzada adding two points for the New Orleans Pelicans.
