The National Basketball League (NBL) will drop its first release of digital collectibles on Thursday, January 5, when NBL Chainz packs go on sale to the public. 

The National Basketball League (NBL) will drop its first release of digital collectibles on Thursday, January 5, when NBL Chainz packs go on sale to the public. 

The NBL Chainz Genesis drop includes your choice of a Starter Pack or a Full Pack, with both including the League Master key. The first release will include moments captured in rounds 1-4 of NBL23 with the inclusion of the Rare, Legend and Ultra Version of Mitch Creek’s dunk from NBL22, exclusively sold in this first launch.

The ‘Starter Pack’ will retail for $9.95 AUD and includes three common moments and one League Master key. The ‘Full Pack’ will retail for $39.95 AUD, and includes five total moments (three Common, one guaranteed Rare moment, and one guaranteed Legend or Ultra moment) and one League Master key.

There will be 37 moments that can be collected in this launch. This includes 21 Common moments, 10 Rare moments, five Legend moments and one Ultra. These moments include some of the best three-pointers, blocks, alley-oops and dunks the NBL has to offer.

The packs will include big NBL names like Mitch Creek, Bryce Cotton, Dejan Vasiljevic, Kai Sotto, Xavier Cooks and Rayjon Tucker, with more to come in future packs.

One League Master Key will be sold in each of the Genesis packs. The League Master Key unlocks exclusive benefits, including entering to win one of four courtside seats at every game during round 16 of the NBL23 season, one of 10 signed jerseys (one from each team), access to a private Discord channel for holders, premium access to monthly Discord AMAs with players and coaches, and much more.

The private Discord channel for the Master Key holders allows them to vote each week for the Chainz Play of the Week from the NBL Top 10 plays, while also being able to vote on fan experiences and other NBL related polls.
