Cairns Taipans’ leader Tahjere McCall is a game time decision for tomorrow’s Game 1 of the Playoffs.

Cairns import Tahjere McCall is a game time decision for tomorrow’s opening clash of the Playoff series between the Taipans and Kings.

Just one day out from the start of the best of three series McCall’s playing status is still unknown.

He sustained a partial dislocation to his shoulder on Thursday night against the Tasmania JackJumpers in the Seeding Qualifier.

Taipans assistant coach Sam Gruggen gave an update on McCall’s return, and says he's close enough to a return to fly to Sydney ahead of the clash.

“He’ll be travelling today, and it will be a game time decision. Our high-performance team will make that decision,” Gruggen said.

“Our high-performance team do a great job with our physios, so they’ll let us know when he’s ready to go.”
