The Sydney Kings have confirmed that guard Jaylen Adams will not play in tomorrow’s game two of the NBL Grand Final against the Tasmanian JackJumpers in Hobart due to a low-grade hamstring strain.

The Sydney Kings have confirmed that guard Jaylen Adams will not play in tomorrow’s game two of the NBL Grand Final against the Tasmanian JackJumpers in Hobart due to a low-grade hamstring strain.

The #NBL22 MVP did not travel with the team to Tasmania today.

Instead Adams underwent scans in Sydney to determine the full extent of the injury sustained in the Kings’ win over the JackJumpers in game one of the best-of-five series at Qudos Bank Arena on Friday night.

The test results and injury will be re-evaluated tomorrow and Monday and it’s hoped Jaylen may be available for a return for Wednesday’s game three at Qudos Bank Arena.

“Once we have the test results back we will be in a better position to make a determination on the extent of Jaylen’s injury,” Kings CEO Chris Pongrass said.

“The best news for us would be getting Jaylen back for game three and until we know any differently we will treat Jaylen’s injury as a day-to-day proposition.”

Jaylin Galloway will replace Jaylen in the line-up.

Biwali Bayles remains out due to concussion protocols.
