JackJumpers Confirm Adams Departure
Star import Josh Adams won’t return to the Tasmania JackJumpers next season.
The JackJumpers announced the news this morning on social media, where they thanked Adams for his efforts with the club and wished him luck for the rest of his career.
“The Tasmania JackJumpers would like to thank Josh Adams for his fantastic contribution to our club during the successful inaugural season,” the club wrote.
“Please join us in wishing Josh every success for the next phase of his basketball journey, we will all watch on with interest.”
Adams was a key cog in Tasmania’s miracle run to the Grand Final last season. He made the All-NBL Second Team before taking his game to another level in the finals.
The 28-year-old scored 30 points in the JackJumpers’ game three semi-final win over Melbourne United, while his 36-point performance in game two of the Grand Final series against the Sydney Kings will go down in the league’s history books.
