JackJumpers sweat on Steindl injury
Tasmania JackJumpers captain Clint Steindl is awaiting scan results on his dislocated finger, leaving his status for next Friday’s season opener against Brisbane in doubt.
Assistant coach Jacob Chance said the team hopes to have results in the next 24-to-48 hours, via The Mercury.

Melbourne United coach Dean Vickerman believes Matthew Dellavedova still has a future in the NBA, lauding his defensive efforts on Tyler Harvey and Justinian Jessup in the NBL Blitz game against Illawarra.
“The way he was able to lock those guys up, his ability to lead the team and to be a great teammate is what a lot of NBA teams are looking for,” Vickerman said via The Age.
United working on Hukporti fitness
United is keeping an eye on the fitness of NBL Next Star Ariel Hukporti and could utilise him in three or four minute high intensity bursts according to coach Vickerman.
