Shamir “unlikely” to coach on Saturday

The New Zealand Breakers could be without coach Dan Shamir for Saturday night’s season opener against the South East Melbourne Phoenix as he continues to recover from Covid-19.

Travers, Digbeu rise up draft rankings

Perth Wildcats star Luke Travers and Brisbane Bullets NBL Next Star Tom Digbeu have rose in ESPN’s latest top 100 for the 2022 NBA Draft.

Travers has gone from unranked to 89 while Digbeu is now 67^th, up from 80. Click here for the full list, which also includes Ousmane Dieng, Hugo Besson, Ariel Hukporti, Mojave King, Nikita Mikhailovskii and Makur Maker.

Bullets noticing a different Lamar 

Brisbane Bullets basketball GM Sam Mackinnon has admitted he has “never seen LP (Lamar Patterson) this engaged before” as they prepare for Friday’s season opener against the Tasmania JackJumpers.
