Mavs eyes on NBL
New Zealand Breakers youngsters Hugo Besson and Ousmane Dieng, along with Illawarra Hawks star Duop Reath, will have a chance to impress the Dallas Mavericks during tomorrow night’s game.
According to Newscorp, a scout from the Mavericks will be in attendance during tomorrow’s clash between the two sides.
Norton’s free agency pain
Perth Wildcats guard Mitch Norton has revealed how hard it was to knock back an offer from the Tasmania JackJumpers, saying “it’s always hard to say no to someone because you feel like you are letting one of your best mates down”.

Despite the team averaging just 68 points per game this season, there is no shaking the confidence of Cairns Taipans veteran Majok Deng.
“We’re one of the best shooting teams in the league. It’s just a matter of time until they start dropping…they’re gonna start raining,” Deng said, via the Cairns Post.
Goulding sees spots to help
Melbourne United captain Chris Goulding will make his season debut tonight and he has seen opportunities where he can help the team.
“We are doing some things well, then we get on a run and get down the floor and I see opportunities where I could step up and try to hit a shot or make a play,” Goulding said, via The Age.

Views of Mitch Creek’s dunk over Matthew Dellavedova have skyrocketed past 10 million but Goulding has said his teammate isn’t fussed.
“I don’t think he (Dellavedova) cares. It was probably one of his slower days on social media,” Goulding said, via the Herald Sun.
