Hools is Hearing, Taipans powerbrokers have enquired about the availability of two-time NBA All-Star Isaiah Thomas.

Thomas, one of the most prolific scorers across the past decade, is still playing at a high level in the G League, averaging more than 29 points a game for the Salt Lake City Stars this season.

The star point-guard, who has scored close to 10,000 points in the NBA, most recently played in the top flight with the Phoenix Suns in 2024.

The Taipans are aiming high with their search for a star, as they pledge to compete with the best teams and dig deeper into their salary cap.

NBL teams are scouting the Summer League in Las Vegas as they look to fill out their rosters, and I’m hearing Charles Bassey, Jacob Toppin, Theo Pinson and Armando Bacot are among those getting attention for potential import spots.
