Giddey Ruled Out of Round Two Opener

Josh Giddey has been ruled out, due to medical advice, of the Adelaide 36ers' clash against the South East Melbourne Phoenix this Wednesday 20 January.

The 18-year-old’s head hit the floor following a dunk in the opening minutes of double overtime in the 36ers dramatic win against the Phoenix on Sunday evening.

An update on Giddey’s status will be made prior to Adelaide's game on Friday against New Zealand.

Giddey starred in Sunday's thrilling double overtime win, recording 16 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists.
