“I’m go make sure we revisit this tweet in a few months.”

Adelaide 36ers guard Kendric Davis isn’t short on confidence despite a winless start to the season and two quiet performances by his standards.

Davis, who is known as a prolific scorer, has posted just 11 and 14 points in Adelaide’s first two games, as it has fallen to Sydney and Cairns.

It led to ESPN’s Olgun Uluc questioning “Is the way Kendric Davis plays (on both ends) conducive to winning in the NBL?” in an X post with his observations from the season.

Davis clapped back at Uluc, responding, “I’m go make sure we revisit this tweet in a few months”.

The pressure is mounting quickly on the 36ers, who have set high expectations after a tumultuous offseason.

They will look to avoid a disappointing 0-3 start when they host the also winless South East Melbourne on Thursday night at 7:30pm AEST, live on ESPN.
