NBL Commissioner Jeremy Loeliger said: “It is a proud day for the league, our clubs and fans with the iconic Champion brand front and centre on the jerseys for the upcoming Hungry Jack’s NBL season.
“Champion is ingrained in basketball history, so it is no surprise to see they have designed and produced jerseys that don’t just look incredible but have improved performance fabrics.
“We can’t wait to see the stars of the Hungry Jack’s NBL wearing these jerseys on the court this season and our passionate fans wearing their favourite team’s jersey at games.”
David Bortolussi, Group President of Hanes which owns the Champion brand, said: “We are proud to see Champion taking to the NBL court after a challenging 2020.
“The brand has a long history of supporting athletes to show a spirit of resilience and achieve their potential, from the elite level in the NBL to kids everywhere across Australia and New Zealand. Never is this more relevant than today.”
Champion is no stranger to the basketball court, having produced the on-court NBA jerseys during the 1990s and into the 2000s.
The 2020-21 Champion NBL jerseys include sports performance fabrications to absorb moisture, are made of a lightweight material and feature overlapping side seams for ease of movement and a premium woven Champion jock tag.
The NBL Store has also launched its personalised jersey service, allowing fans to add their names and numbers to their favourite team jersey in home and away designs so they can be their own Champion.
All jerseys are available now at www.nblstore.com.au - home of NBL apparel for the fans. Follow the @nblstore on Instagram for the latest updates on new products and special promotions.
