Check out how current and former NBL talent is faring at the NBA Summer League.
Reigning NBL MVP Xavier Cooks’ Summer League campaign kicked off with a strong start for the Washington Wizards.
Cooks registered 11 points and seven rebounds in just over 20 minutes of play in his 2023 Summer League debut, and also showcased his passing prowess with a pair of assists.
His two-time NBL title-winning teammate DJ Vasiljevic registered a DNP for the Wizards, while Mojave King hit the court for just two minutes of the clash.
Former Breakers Next Star Ousmane Dieng has continued his strong vein of California Classic form in Las Vegas, and helped lead his OKC side to an 11-point win over the Dallas Mavericks.

Dieng has been consistently racking up good numbers across the board for the Thunder this pre-season, and added 13 points, five rebounds, three assists and a steal in the comfortable win.
NBL23 Sixth Man of the Year Barry Brown Jr started for the Phoenix Suns in their loss to the Milwaukee Bucks, and added 10 points and a steal.
Former Adelaide 36er Craig Randall II received solid burn off the bench for the Bucks against Brown Jr and company, and added seven points and four boards in the nine-point win.
South East Melbourne NBL21 guard Keifer Sykes played 14 minutes in Detroit’s victory over Orlando, and finished the game with four points and four assists.
Makur Maker, Hugo Besson and Kai Sotto all registered DNP’s for Philadelphia, Milwaukee and Orlando respectively, while Keanu Pinder was forced to sit out Phoenix’s clash with the Bucks due to a back issue.
