Hosted by experienced sports presenters, Cath Durkin and Drew Jones, The Crossover will feature Illawarra Hawks legend and former championship player, Damon Lowery, Big Brother winner and NBL1 player Marley Biyendolo, WNBL star Maddie Garrick and ESPN news breaker Kane Pitman.
Airing between games on ESPN at 7:30pm AEDT Saturdays and 5:00pm AEDT Sundays, the show will cover all the latest basketball news from the NBL and around the world, as well as reviewing and previewing the NBL games of the day.
AAMI also joins the NBL family as the league’s Official Insurance Partner.
“We are so excited to have AAMI on board as the official presenter of our new show The Crossover,” Hungry Jack’s NBL Chief Commercial Officer Brad Joyner said.
“We are always looking for new and innovative ways to deliver great basketball content to our fans and we believe The Crossover will do just that. With fresh faces and big personalities, it will become must-watch television between NBL games every weekend on ESPN.
“AAMI joining the NBL family as Insurance Partner is also a huge endorsement of the league’s strength and growth. AAMI is a premier brand, and we are excited to begin what promises to be a long and successful partnership.”
The 2021/22 Hungry Jack’s NBL Season begins on Friday December 3 when the Tasmania JackJumpers host the Brisbane Bullets at 7:30pm AEDT. It will be followed by the Perth Wildcats battling the Adelaide 36ers at 9:30pm AEDT.
