36ers release Cleveland

Thursday, July 27, 2023
A big roster move in Adelaide.
Adelaide 36ers star import Antonius Cleveland has been released from his NBL24 contract.
Cleveland used an out clause in his two-year contract to make the move to a European giant, and the release was made after the contractual buyout amount was paid in full for his services.
Adelaide head coach CJ Bruton said the move is a great opportunity for Cleveland.

“For AC, to make this change is huge for his professional career. To play EuroLeague is a big deal,” Bruton said.
“We wish him all the best and the club will be keeping in regular contact, AC will always be a 36er.”
The 36ers will be making significant roster announcements in the coming days.
