Travers Invited to G League Elite Camp

Perth Wildcats youngster Luke Travers has accepted an invite to the NBA G League Elite Camp, which will take place in Chicago from May 16-17.

Travers was one of 44 players selected to participate in the camp, as he looks to build his stock ahead of June’s NBA Draft.

Based on performance, select players from the camp will be invited to participate in the NBA Draft Combine, which will be held on May 18-22.

“We are thrilled to host this talented group of draft prospects at our NBA G League Elite Camp,” NBA G League Head of Basketball Operations Malik Rose said.

“This is an incredible opportunity for these 44 young men to showcase their basketball abilities in front of both NBA and NBA G League front office personnel.”

Travers averaged 7.8 points and 5.4 rebounds per game this season for Perth, as his athleticism and versatility caught the eye of NBA scouts.
