Jaylin Galloway leads the SuperCoach NBL Round 7 trades in, as coaches cash in five big season risers

**Shrewd SuperCoach NBL coaches hope to catch their own Cairns “Marlin” now that “FIBA Jaylin Galloway ($196,400)” is a big fish in a smaller pond, playing more minutes than he did with the NBL26 champion Sydney Kings.
Could I fit any more puns into 37 words? Probably, but not as many as the more than 2,405 SuperCoaches that have jumped on the three-time NBL champion.
Why? Because the Taipans’ “minutes restriction, what minutes restriction?” 2025 FIBA Men’s Asia Cup MVP scored 29 SuperCoach points in his season debut, an 86-84 win over the Breakers on October 25, after missing Cairns’ first eight games.
His ownership has gone from 1.3 per cent to 14.6 per cent in two days of trading. He’s a potential Cash Cow because prices only move once a player has played three games.
Last week, this tracker asked how many SuperCoaches would listen to Steve Miller and take the money and run, and the Round 7 trade numbers point to one answer: five of the 10 most traded-out players since Round 6 have each risen at least $73,500 from their starting price.
New Zealand Breakers forward Carlin Davison ($121,600), now $274,900, is the sharpest. He was the biggest riser of the week, up $45,300 after Round 6 and $153,300 on the season, and he is also the fourth most traded-out player, held by 617 fewer teams than at the Round 6 lockout. That certainly has a lot to do with this week’s Ultimate POD – Parker Jackson-Cartwright ($405,200), now $477,500.
Perth Wildcats guard Anthony Dell’Orso ($100,000), now $219,100, Sydney Kings swingman Makuach Maluach ($134,500), now $208,800, South East Melbourne Phoenix guard Dash Daniels ($115,000), now $188,500, and Cairns Taipans big man Jonah Bolden ($133,600), now $263,700, complete the five.
Bolden is up $130,100 since Round 1, behind Davison and Adelaide 36ers forward Nick Rakocevic ($188,400), now $357,300, the player last week’s sing-along targeted. Rakocevic is still the biggest season riser in the game at $168,900. He’s not among the 15 most traded-out players this week.
The Illawarra Hawks sit at the other end of the market. Hawks players fill five of the 10 biggest price falls of the week, led by Kelan Martin ($277,000), now $208,800, down $35,900 after scoring 7 across Illawarra’s two Round 6 losses to Sydney and Brisbane, and William Hickey ($331,600), now $227,900, whose $33,500 fall leaves him $103,700 down on the season, the biggest season fall in the game.
Big man Sam Froling ($228,200), now $238,800, is the most traded-out player of the week, held by 908 fewer teams after a $21,300 fall, and Illawarra play only once in Round 7, at Perth on Saturday, October 31.
Adelaide’s Matt Kenyon ($69,000), now $129,700, is second on the traded-out list at 890 teams. He did not play in Round 6, and SuperCoach lists him with a back injury and no confirmed return date, so check the NBL injury report before you trade.
Sydney’s Round 6 double drove the biggest rises behind Davison. Torrey Craig ($290,400), now $313,700, is up $45,200 after scoring 88 across two games, the round’s top score, and Andrew Carr ($277,000), now $298,600, is up $41,500 after 83, with both players among the 15 most traded.
Ownership moves right up to lockout, so the order of the trade tables below can still change. Round 7 locks at 9.30pm AEDT on Wednesday, October 28, when Perth hosts Sydney at RAC Arena.
Below are the pre-Round 7 lockout trades in and out, along with the price rises and falls after Round 6.
