It was the weekend of triple-doubles in the NBL1. Your NBL favourites have been putting their pre-season work to the test with tough stat lines throughout the five conferences.

Angus Glover hit a triple-double in the NBL1 South with the Eltham Wildcats. He hit 18 points, 13 rebounds and ten assists against the Casey Cavaliers.

Followed by Matt Kenyon, USC Rip City star with 22 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists over the Gold Coast Rollers.

Massive performances over the weekend saw Kouat Noi put down 45 points, 13 rebounds and four assists for the USC Rip City to narrow the margin over the Rollers.

But the Rollers had the upper hand with free agent Todd Blanchfield and his 41-point show.

Alex Starling impressed with a double-double over the weekend, he recorded 31 points, 11 rebounds and four assists for the South Adelaide Panthers.

West Adelaide Bearcats' Lachlan Olbrich matched Starling’s energy in NBL1 Central with 26 points, 16 rebounds and three assists. Olbrich will make his NBL debut with the Illawarra Hawks in the upcoming NBL24 season.

Melbourne United’s Brad Newley had a successful weekend as he went 2-0 with the Frankston Blues. He recorded 22 points, six rebounds and two assists against the Hobart chargers.

Chargers’ favourite and Brisbane Bullets’ rookie Sam McDaniel turned around Hobart’s loss to Frankston, with a win over the Ringwood Hawks.

McDaniel provided 26 points, six rebounds and one assist. Tasmania JackJumpers’ Jarred Bairstow recorded 13 points, five rebounds and five assists for the Chargers.

NBL1 East’s Illawarra Hawks teammates William Hickey and Harry Morris delivered for their team over the Newcastle Falcons, they claimed a 29-point win.

Hickey recorded 22 points, 16 rebounds and five assists. Whilst Morris put down 19 points, seven rebounds and two assists.
