Melbourne United has claimed the Loggins-Bruton Cup as the Hungry Jack's NBL Blitz champions.

Dean Vickerman's team won all three games on the Gold Coast, with United tipping out fellow undefeated side Perth for top honours by winning more quarters across the tournament.

Melbourne boasted consistent performances across the board at the Blitz, with Matthew Dellavedova having back-to-back 20 point outings in games one and two, and the likes of Ariel Hukporti, Luke Travers, Shea Ili and Chris Goulding among those to have a big impact at different times.

United will now go into its season-opening clash against the South East Melbourne Phoenix full of confidence, with the game already sold out at John Cain Arena.
