Legends unite for V League

To encourage Aussies to rediscover the joy of movement, Voltaren and the NBL are back with the second running of the V League!

The exciting competition sees basketball fans presented with the chance to team up with some of Australian basketball’s greatest players, while reigniting their joy for movement, as the V League returns for a second year.

The NBL and Voltaren have made the V League bigger and better with four team captains headlining a star-studded lineup. Four-time Olympian, David Andersen, and two-time NBL champion, Adam Gibson, return for another run, and will be joined by five-time NBL All-Star, Lanard Copeland, and two-time WNBL champion, Bec Cole.

2001 NBL champion, Damon Lowery, will oversee the matches as referee and is sure to make the games highly entertaining.

“The first V League was a big hit and I was glad to walk away a winner. I am thrilled to be back to promote the joy of movement in partnership with Voltaren,” Gibson said.

“V League is a great competition and creates awareness of the importance of remaining active, and also gives fans the chance to play a fun 3x3 competition with some of the game’s greats.

Fans are invited to register for their chance to be on one of four teams, captained by the legends, in a series of 3x3 basketball games.
