Game 1 recap

DJ Vasiljevic led from the front in Game 1 in front of familiar fans in Adelaide. The 36ers sharpshooter had a game-high 23 points, including five made threes. It was Elijah Pepper and Angus Glover who proved to be two of the other predominant scorers, putting up 16 and 10 points respectively. Glover also chimed in with seven rebounds, to finish as a +18 in his 20 minutes of action. 

For the Tall Blacks it Reuben Te Rangi who led from the front with 15 points and eight rebounds, picking up where he left off on national team duties. New Zealand shot just six from 28 three point attempts with Breakers' newest signing, Taylor Britt, the only one to make multiple. 

What's next?

The teams travel to Hamilton, New Zealand on Sunday for the final game in the series, with a 2.10pm AEST tip-off.
