ESPN insider Olgun Uluc has reported Melbourne United captain Chris Goulding will be taking his talents to France this off-season

ESPN insider Olgun Uluc has reported Melbourne United captain Chris Goulding will be taking his talents to France this off-season.

The sharpshooter is set to link up with former Sydney Kings head coach Will Weaver at Paris Basketball in the LNP Pro A and the EuroCup.

Paris currently sit mid-table in the local division. After 22 games they sit 12th with a 9-13 record and are the only team in the competition to have conceded over 2000 points at this stage of the campaign.

The link-up will be Goulding’s first off-season overseas stint since joining Italy’s Auxilium Torino back in 2016.

Goulding signed a two-year contract extension with United ahead of the NBL23 campaign and will return to the NBL for next season.

Contracted South East Melbourne star Alan Williams has also secured himself an off-season gig, and has officially joined the Nagoya Dolphins of the Japanese B. League.

After initially arriving in South East Melbourne on a one-year deal, Williams extended his stay in the heartland for a further two seasons.

He joins Adelaide fan-favourite Kai Sotto in the B. League this off-season.
