Glover suffers injury blow

South East Melbourne Phoenix's Angus Glover suffered a shoulder injury during a training session with the Australian Boomers on the Gold Coast, and will return to Melbourne to begin rehabilitation.

Set to miss the Boomers' clash against the University of Colorado, and the chance to play with the squad at the FIBA Asia Cup next week, Glover will start his recovery with the Phoenix to allow him the best chance of a return to training ahead of NBL26.

“While it’s really unfortunate that Angus has suffered this setback, we will take every step to ensure that he returns to the program fully fit and ready to go for the season,” Phoenix High Performance Manager, Luke Vella said.

The club haven't announced a timeline.
