Former Melbourne United big Jack White has gone from being waived by the Oklahoma City Thunder last week to being selected pick 1 overall at the NBA's G League Draft.
White was drafted by the Texas Legends, before his rights were traded just hours later to the LA Lakers G League affiliate, the South Bay Lakers.

The 26-year-old was part of the Denver Nuggets' championship roster last season in the NBA, making 17 appearances, but was also a dominant force in the G League. He averaged 19.6 points and 9.3 rebounds with Grand Rapids Gold, the Nuggets' affiliate, across 25 games.
He made an off-season move to the Thunder, before being waived late last week, but will now have another chance to prove himself in the G League as he looks to get back to the NBA.
