"He embraced the JackJumpers' grit-and-grind mentality and made a big impact both on and off the court."

JackJumpers star import and fan favourite Jordon Crawford won't be offered a contract for NBL26, the club has confirmed.

Crawford was dominant in Game 5 of the NBL24 Championship Series, which saw the JackJumpers claim their first title.

“To the staff, coaches, the sponsors, but most of all the fans — thank you. You’ve welcomed me and my family with nothing but love. I’ll always have a little Tasmanian in me and I’m excited for this next chapter in our lives. Go Jackies," Crawford said in his parting message.

While it is unknown if the 34-year-old — who played two years with the JackJumpers — will remain in the league, he's sure to attract plenty of interest from rival clubs.

“Jordon has been a great person to have as part of our group for the past couple of seasons. He embraced the JackJumpers' grit-and-grind mentality and made a big impact both on and off the court,” JackJumpers Chief Operating Officer Darren Smith said.

“I know he’s become well loved by a lot of fans and he’ll be missed by many people at the club and, of course, in the Ant Army.

“We wish Jordon, Tifanny, Alaynah and little Asher the absolute best for the future."
