The explosive and defensively minded centre comes to play in the NBL for the first time ready to be an anchor for a new-look New Zealand Breakers for the 2024/25 season.

The now 27-year-old big man has already had quite the journey as a professional since his college career at Baylor and having played since in the G League, in the NBA and in Germany and Serbia.

After growing up in Minnesota, started his college career at his home state Carleton College before transferring to Baylor University firstly having to redshirt in 2017/18 and then being able to play the next two seasons.

That culminated in putting up 9.6 points, 9.0 rebounds and 2.2 blocks in over 28 minutes as a senior where he was named to the Big 12 All-Defensive Team, to the All-Big 12 Second Team and the Most Improved Player in 2020.

From there, started in the G League at the Memphis Hustle before making his NBA debut late in the 2020/21 season after signing a 10-day contract at the Toronto Raptors.

Ended up playing 20 matches and also spent time with the Orlando Magic the following season along with another 34 appearances with Memphis in the G League.

Started playing internationally from there with two seasons in the EuroLeague with Bayern Munich winning a German Cup championship before playing in Serbia for Crvena Zvezda where was also Serbian Cup, Serbian League and ABA League champions.
