Biography
Arrives in the NBL for the first time to join the Illawarra Hawks with an impressive pedigree, including 177 NBA appearances across five teams.
The 6'8 28-year-old power forward grew up in North Carolina before spending all four years of his college career with the University of Cincinnati. Over those four years, he was twice AAC Defensive Player of the Year along with being the conference Player of the Year as a senior and tournament MVP.
Ended up signing a two-way contract out of college with the Houston Rockets and went on to win a G League championship with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers.
Played 69 games with the Rockets in the NBA over two seasons, before joining the Orlando Magic for the rest of 2019/20. Played another 35 games for the Magic in 2020/21 including 11 as a starter and averaging a career-high 18.2 minutes.
Finished the season, though, at the Denver Nuggets and ultimately the Philadelphia 76ers, before playing with the New Orleans Pelicans in 2021/22.
Has played 177 NBA games over five seasons and has since played with Capitanes de Ciudad de Mexico of the G League before now embarking on a first foray out of the Americas to join the Hawks for NBL24.
