Wildcats vs Breakers Game Postponed

Friday night’s game between Perth and New Zealand has been postponed with a number of Breakers’ players testing positive to Covid.

Covid isolation requirements are still in place in New Zealand and as a result, the Breakers are unable to field a team meeting the minimum number of players required under NBL rules to participate in the game.

The game will be rescheduled to a later date.

The League has enjoyed 74 uninterrupted games so far this season and views this particular situation as a minor setback.

The League will work with the Breakers ahead of their next scheduled game on Wednesday in Brisbane and will continue to monitor the situation.
