Sykes brings the pace for Indiana: NBLxNBA Summer League Day Three Recap

Former South East Melbourne Phoenix import Keifer Sykes made his mark on the NBA Summer League today as he impressed with the Indiana Pacers.

Despite the Pacers suffering an 84-83 loss to the Atlanta Hawks at the buzzer, Sykes was a menace on the defensive end throughout the contest.

Sykes was up in the face of the Hawks player he was guarding all game, both on and off the ball. His constant energy and activity on the defensive end drew praise from the broadcasters and also contributed to his plus/minus being a massive +22.

Sykes also nailed a three-pointer in the game. Former Brisbane Bullets player BJ Johnson contributed six points for the Pacers.
