Roth turns up heat on new signings

Saturday, July 29, 2023
The Tasmania JackJumpers are putting their players through their paces in a pre-pre-season mini camp.
Scott Roth is turning the heat up on his NBL24 Tasmania side already, as the club’s local contingent pull together for a pre-season mini camp,
The Tasmania coach has high hopes for one signing in particular - Junior Madut.
Madut has joined the JackJumpers, following a debut professional season with the South East Melbourne Phoenix. As a capable three-and-d wing, he seems to be exactly the type of player that can thrive in Roth’s defence-first system.

“He’s still young and got a lot of growth in him, and this environment will continue to build upon his professionalism to go play,” Roth told News Corp.
“All the guys who come here, nothing is promised to them other than the opportunity to come and compete. We don’t allow them to have anything other than to come here and work.”
Tasmania’s NBL24 season will commence on Friday, September 29 against Perth.
