Recent Melbourne United re-signing Malith Machar is powering through the NBL1 Central, with the 24-year-old forward averaging 17.5 points and shooting at 51.3 per cent from the field.

Machar's Forestville Eagles face an immense challenge in the form of Alex Starling and the South Adelaide Panthers on Saturday night at 8pm ACST.

Cairns' Jonah Antonio is set for a heavy weekend with a triple header of away games for the Marlins.

The Marlins play Red City on Friday night before taking on Shaun Bruce’s Logan Thunder on the Saturday. Their hectic weekend of fixtures will end on Sunday against the Ipswich Force, and NBL talents Nathan Sobey, Jaylin Galloway and Kyrin Galloway.

USC Rip City’s Kouat Noi and Matt Kenyon take on the Sunshine Coast Phoenix on Saturday at 8:30pm AEST.

Perth Wildcats young gun Ben Henshall will look to defend the Centre of Excellence’s first place position in their weekend double-header against the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles and Central Coast Crusaders in the NBL1 East.

Illawarra Hawks NBL and NBL1 teammates William Hickey and Harry Morris play the Canberra Gunners on Saturday in NBL1 East at 7:00pm AEST.

NBL24 rivals Ben Ayre and Campbell Blogg - who play for South East Melbourne and Melbourne respectively - will continue their backcourt partnership as Sandringham take on Casey in NBL1 South on Saturday at 7:30pm AEST

Former United teammates Mason Peatling and Zac Triplett will battle it out when the Knox Raiders host the Keilor Thunder on Saturday at 8:00pm AEST.

Perth Wildcats signing David Okwera has swapped conferences mid-way through the season. He joined the NBL1 West’s Perth Redbacks from the Sandringham Sabres in the NBL1 South.
