Local star declares for NBA Draft

The Perth Wildcats now have two players that have declared for the 2025 NBA Draft, with Next Star Izan Almansa, and now Ben Henshall.

Henshall's standout NBL25 season saw his draft stocks rise as he became a regular on the 2025 NBA Draft boards. The 20-year old averaged 9.4 points and 3.4 rebounds, and appeared in the starting lineup in 28 of his 32 games.

He flew to the US in early April and plans to remain there until the draft.

Henshall and Almansa will look to follow in the steps of Wildcats products Alex Sarr (Washington Wizards) and Luke Travers (Cleveland Cavaliers) into the NBA.
