The Adelaide 36ers have announced that Jamie Pearlman will join the Club has Lead Assistant Coach for the next two seasons.

The Adelaide 36ers have announced that Jamie Pearlman will join the Club has Lead Assistant Coach for the next two seasons.

Pearlman, formerly a Cairns Taipans assistant coach under Aaron Fearne has most recently been head coach of the Westports Malaysia Dragons in the ASEAN Basketball League.

Pearlman suited up in 243 NBL games as a player with the Cairns Taipans and Canberra Cannons.

Joining the 36ers staff under head coach Conner Henry, Pearlman said he was excited to return to the NBL.

“I’m excited to be returning to the NBL and joining the 36ers for the next challenge in my coaching career. I can’t wait to get to work with the extremely talented roster that Jeff and Conner have recruited for the upcoming season. The 36ers have a long history of success and I look forward to working with Conner to help build a team that plays a tough and exciting brand of basketball,” Pearlman said.

Head Coach Conner Henry said the appointment of Jamie Pearlman as the Club’s Lead Assistant Coach was testament to his professional development, focus and career experience on and off the floor. 

“I am excited we have been able to secure my guy Jamie Pearlman to help lead us. He comes with great experience as a former player and he has an extensive knowledge of the players in this league, he knows the landscape well. The 36ers are getting a fantastic coach!”
