Wildcats roster boost

The Perth Wildcats will welcome back Mitch Norton and Matt Hodgson in tonight’s game against the Cairns Taipans.

Nelson to play for Snakes

Marshall Nelson will make his Cairns debut tonight against Perth, after he was signed yesterday as an injury replacement for Scott Machado.

“He has got a clearly defined role of what he needs to be doing out there for us and he’s good for it,” Taipans coach Adam Forde said via the Cairns Post.

36ers keeping focused

Adelaide 36ers leader Mitch McCarron says it's important the club doesn’t use their recent spell in isolation “as an excuse”.

Tasmanian native and United star Chris Goulding has praised the Tasmania JackJumpers’ start to their NBL journey before the two sides clash on New Year’s Day.

“I'm super impressed with their organisation, they're selling out games and there's hype around them. The team plays with an enthusiasm and an energy that a new team needs...they're playing the right way, and that's dangerous in our league,” Goulding told SEN.
