Departing Perth superstar Luke Travers has options “everywhere” according to Wildcats GM of Basketball Danny Mills.
Travers delivered a bombshell on Thursday, declaring his intentions to test free agency and leave the Wildcats, the team he began his professional career with.
The Cleveland Cavaliers draftee is set to get global attention as he calculates his next move.
“He’s got options everywhere. Europe is on the cards and he’s a NBL free agent too. Globally he’s going to have interest,” Mills told The West Australian.

“Obviously for us it is a disappointing outcome but that is the nature of the free agency and we respect that he informed us early.
“Losing someone like LT that is coming into an exciting part of his career is disappointing. We did all we could to make sure he felt comfortable coming back. It didn’t happen.”
Mills added he believes Travers will take his time in making his decision.
“I think they’re exploring everything and I don’t think there’s any decision imminent. They’re going to take their time,” he said.
