The Brisbane Bullets have announced the signing of guard Rasmus Bach as their nominated replacement player for this season.

The Brisbane Bullets have announced the signing of guard Rasmus Bach as their nominated replacement player for this season.
The six-foot-four guard had a strong campaign with the Logan Thunder in the NBL1 competition this year, averaging 15.6 points, 5.9 rebounds and 3.8 assists, while shooting over 41 per cent from the field.
The Danish international grew up in Australia, playing his junior basketball at Logan. His family then moved to the United States, where he attended high school in Texas and played his NCAA basketball for Fort Lewis College in Colorado, averaging 14.5 points, before graduating in 2018.
Bach played the last two seasons with the New Zealand Breakers, averaging 4.8 points from 15 minutes' game-time.
“He’s worked out all off-season with the club, where he’s shown his ability to compete day in day out. He’s also a quality human being who and adds depth to our roster,” Brisbane's General Manager of Basketball Sam Mackinnon told the team's website.
Bullets head coach James Duncan believe Bach is a great addition to an already new-look squad.
“Rasmus brings NBL experience and versatility to our group. He has good character, he’s about the team, he’s about competing and that fits in to what we’re building here in Brisbane. We’re excited to have him on board for NBL23,” Duncan said.
Bach is excited to be a part of the Bullets' NBL23 campaign.
“Representing and playing for the Bullets is a dream come true. This is the team I grew up watching in the mid 2000’s. I’m beyond grateful for the opportunity.” he added.
Bach joins joins Aron Baynes, Tyler Johnson, Nathan Sobey, Devondrick Walker, Jason Cadee, Tyrrell Harrison, Tanner Krebs, DJ Mitchell, Harry Froling, Kody Stattmann, Gorjok Gak and development player Lual Diing on the Bullets' roster.
