Travers has “a lot” of NBA fans
Perth Wildcats youngster Luke Travers is gaining more and more fans in the NBA world according to his agent Daniel Moldovan.
Travers’ strong start to the season has seen him rise to number 83 in ESPN’s top 100 draft rankings and the 20-year-old is poised to continue his climb.
“He has a lot of fans in and around the NBA because he is extremely unique,” Moldovan told ESPN.
“I don't know this draft class has anyone like him. People see an elite role player at the next level. He's looked at as someone that can star in their role.
“He's still young enough that coaches are making minor tweaks here and there (with his shot) to figure out what works, that is by no means the finished product.”
Travers has become a stat-sheet stuffer for the 5-1 Wildcats, averaging 7.0 points, 7.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 2.2 steals and 1.2 blocks per game.
