The Adelaide 36ers are reportedly close to landing one of the biggest free agents in the market, Bul Kuol, on a two-year deal.

According to ESPN’s Olgun Uluc, Kuol, who played a role in the Sydney Kings’ NBL26 championship, is on the verge of penning a multi-year deal with the Sixers.

While Kuol, who has played five seasons in the NBL, is currently rehabbing from a knee injury, the South Sudanese international will provide a massive defensive presence to the 36ers, who will attempt to go one step further in NBL27.

This report follows Uluc linking fellow King Torrey Craig to the Sixers, as well as two-time NBL champion Dejan Vasiljevic and Adelaide working through a contract release.

As it stands, assuming Vasiljevic leaves the City of Churches, Mike Wells’ side has six-time MVP Bryce Cotton, Zylan Cheatham, Flynn Cameron, Isaac Humphries, Isaac White, and Ben Griscti as contracted players next season.
