Regional Victorian basketball fans will get the chance to enjoy world class hoops when the Hungry Jack’s National Basketball League (NBL) returns to Bendigo next month.
Regional Victorian basketball fans will get the chance to enjoy world class hoops when the Hungry Jack’s National Basketball League (NBL) returns to Bendigo next month.
The New Zealand Breakers will host two games at Bendigo Stadium against the South East Melbourne Phoenix on Sunday April 10 and the Sydney Kings on Tuesday April 12.
It will be the second consecutive season games are held in Bendigo with three matches last year.

“We are absolutely thrilled to be returning to Bendigo,” Hungry Jack’s NBL Commissioner Jeremy Loeliger said.
“The passion of the fans in Bendigo, and regional Victoria more broadly, is unquestioned. The support they showed during the games last season was magnificent and we look forward to returning with the Breakers, Phoenix and Kings.
“I want to thank the Council and State Government for their support. These games wouldn’t be possible without them and I’m sure fans will vote with their feet.”

The Breakers v Phoenix game will be broadcast on 10 Peach and Kayo Freebies. The Breakers v Kings game will be broadcast on ESPN via Kayo and Foxtel.
In other Breakers’ home games updates, there has been venue changes for this Thursday’s New Zealand v Brisbane Bullets game and Sunday’s New Zealand v Cairns Taipans game.
Both games will now be played at the Cairns Convention Centre, after originally being scheduled to be played at MyState Bank Arena.
