NBL Players to Champion the court in 2015/16

The National Basketball League (NBL) continues to partner with premium brands and today announce that innovative athletic supplier Champion will be the ‘Official NBL Sock Supplier’ for the upcoming 2015/16 season, which will see all players hit the court in Champion performance socks. The Champion brand has been providing competitive team uniforms and practice wear to athletes for near 100 years, and the official NBL licensed product will feature the new NBL brand marks on a black and a white range. NBL General Manager Jeremy Loeliger said the partnership with Champion signified the League’s commitment to securing suppliers of the highest quality. “Champion have such a rich history and association with basketball. They join the ranks of our other top tier suppliers and we know the players will be thrilled with the quality of their apparel this season, from head to toe,” said Mr Loeliger. “Aligning ourselves with Champion is all part of our continued delivery of partnering with the best of the best.” Managing Director at Hanes Australia Guy Tuthill believes that the NBL and Champion brands share similar values that will complement one another throughout the season. “We at Champion are excited to be partnering with the NBL. The Champion brand is about teamwork and connection and we look forward to a great relationship and supporting the NBL as best we can,” said Mr Tuthill. The official licensed product will be stocked in select retail outlets throughout the 2015/16 NBL season as well as the soon to be re-launched NBL online store. Since being acquired by Melbourne-based business Larry Kestelman in June the NBL has undertaken an ambitious sponsorship agenda, complimented by the recent announcement that all games throughout the 2015/16 NBL season will be broadcast live on Fox Sports Australia.
