NBL Partners with HOYTS

The NBL announced today that cinema giant HOYTS will once again team up with the league to be its Official Cinema Partner for the 2016/17 NBL season. NBL General Manager Jeremy Loeliger said the NBL is very pleased to once again partner with the vastly successful cinema chain. “The relationship is very complementary to both brands,” said Loeliger. “The NBL and HOYTS are both premium entertainment providers that appeal to a wide group of people, especially a younger demographic and families,” he said. “I look forward to creating further opportunities with HOYTS as we go forward in our journey to make basketball the number-one summer entertainment sport in Australia.” HOYTS CEO Damien Keogh said that partnering with the NBL strengthens their commitment to entertainment. “Cinema, just like sport, it’s enjoyed by people from 3 to 93 years of age and is a shared entertainment experience,” he said. “This partnership provides both HOYTS and the NBL an opportunity to engage with people who love to be entertained.” The partnership will see the NBL’s latest ‘NBL LIVE’ commercial played across HOYTS’ Australian cinemas as part of the pre-feature advertising. NBL fans will also have the opportunity to win HOYTS’ tickets throughout the season. HOYTS and the NBL will continue to partner on a number of consumer promotions across mutually beneficial markets throughout the season.
