NBL partners with CPA Australia
The NBL is pleased to announce CPA Australia as its newest major partner of the NBL for the 2016/17 Season. The announcement marks the continuation of a successful partnership that saw CPA Australia sponsor an NBL All-Australian Team for a three-game series against the Chinese National Team in May. “We are extremely pleased to have CPA Australia on board as a major partner,” said NBL General Manager Jeremy Loeliger. “CPA Australia has been a supporter of our drive into key Asian markets, especially through the tour of the NBL All-Australian Team to China in May, which was watched by tens of millions of people. There are so many aspects of our respective businesses which are very closely aligned, and we are learning more from one another every time we meet. “We look forward to working with CPA Australia to grow the NBL’s following, and CPA Australia’s membership base, both at home and abroad,” said Loeliger. “CPA Australia has enjoyed a mutually beneficial partnership with the NBL and we look forward to continuing that relationship,” said CPA Australia chief executive Alex Malley. “The tour of the NBL All-Australian Team to China delivered invaluable exposure for our brand in a key global growth market. CPA Australia has had a presence in Mainland China since 2002 and our membership base there continues to grow. “We’re all set for what’s sure to be a fantastic new season and we’re excited to be expanding our partnership with the NBL,” Malley said. The broadcast of every NBL game will include a segment called ‘CPA Australia, let’s talk strategy’. This segment will feature interviews with NBL coaches and will be an integral part of the broadcast on all platforms. CPA Australia, together with Chemist Warehouse, will also be a co-presenting partner of the NBL MVP Awards, and in the close-season CPA Australia will once again sponsor an NBL All-Australian Team tour of China.
