The Sydney Kings continue to strengthen their hopes of securing back-to-back NBL Championships, after re-signing another one of their stars.

The Kings have announced athletic wing Makuach Maluach is re-signing on a two-year deal.

One of the breakout stars of NBL26, who was shortlisted for the Most Improved Award, Maluach became one of the Kings’ most vital pieces during their Championship run.

The stats back that up, with the NSW product posting career-highs in points (8.4), rebounds (3.1), assists (0.8), steals (0.6) and blocks (0.2), which included a season-high 23 points in Sydney’s closeout win against Perth in the Playoffs.

Maluach, who has played three of his four NBL seasons in Sydney, will join Xavier Cooks, Matthew Dellavedova, Jaylin Galloway, Kouat Noi, Keli Leaupepe, Tyler Robertson and Jason Spurgin on Brian Goorjian’s NBL27 roster.
