The Tasmania JackJumpers have elevated Nick Stoddart from DP to main roster spot.

The Tasmania JackJumpers have re-signed Nick Stoddart on a one-year deal, elevating him from Development Player to the main roster for NBL26.

Last season, he impressed on the floor when he stood up in the absence of key piece Sean Macdonald - with his best performance against the Phoenix in January scoring 14 points.

"I'm super grateful for everything that’s happened so far, it's been a hell of a ride so far in Tassie and I cannot wait to continue to the journey. I'm super grateful for it and I wouldn’t trade it for anything," Stoddart said.

“It is a testament to the hard work Nick put in, after gaining himself a position as a development player last year and stepping up when needed," JackJumpers Chief Operations Officer, Darren Smith said.

“We are excited to see his development continue."

Stoddart is currently spending the off season with the NBL1 South's Ballarat Miners where he has averaged 19.4 points, 2.5 assists & 2.8 rebounds per game.
