The South East Melbourne Phoenix have signed Vrenz Bleijenbergh on a one-year deal.

The South East Melbourne Phoenix have locked in 6'10" combo forward Vrenz Bleijenbergh for the Hungry Jack's NBL26 Season.

The Belgian-born 24-year-old most recently played with Yukatel Merkezefendi in the Turkish Basketball Super League, and previously represented the Windy City Bulls in the NBA G League.

“Vrenz brings great size, athleticism, and strong playmaking. He can operate in pick and roll as a ball handler, rebound and go, and can both shoot and get to the rim,” Phoenix General Manager of Basketball Simon Mitchell said.

“Vrenz forms a key part of our roster build this season, and we’re excited to welcome him to the Heartland.”

The Phoenix have also mutually agreed to the release of Omari Moore from his one-year contract, with the 24-year-old set to sign with EuroLeague club Valencia.

Bleijenbergh joins Jordan Hunter, Angus Glover, Nathan Sobey, Owen Foxwell, Malique Lewis, DJ Mitchell, Akech Aliir, and Gorjok Gak as confirmed signings for the NBL26 roster.
