#HardBall Podcast - Episode 10 feat. Stephen Holt
This week on the #HardBall Podcast Tommy Greer, Liam Santamaria and Brett Thomas recap all the major story-lines from Round 12 of the NBL. The boys discuss Adelaide’s home win over Melbourne, the phenomenal shooting display from New Zealand’s Corey Webster and the awesome spectacle that was the open air game at Hisense Arena. American Stephen Holt has had a massive impact for Melbourne United in his first season in the NBL. After being awarded Co-MVP of the League’s preseason tournament, Holt is averaging 16.1 points, 3.3 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game for the 12-7 United. Holt joins the boys to discuss his transition into the NBL, playing in the open air, his partnership with Chris Goulding and the League’s St. Mary’s brotherhood. Round 13 of #HardBall will be played either side of New Year’s Eve, with both Adelaide and Perth enjoying the round off. On Wednesday Sydney will host a rejuvenated Melbourne United and will be hoping for another sell-out in their new home arena. Then, on New Year’s Eve, Cairns will host New Zealand while the red hot Illawarra Hawks will travel to Townsville to take on the Crocs. To finish off the round, Cairns will battle the Sydney Kings, who are hoping to welcome injured star Josh Childress back into the line-up.
