Daniel Foster’s hard work has paid off, earning a full roster spot with the South East Melbourne Phoenix ahead of the NBL26 season.

The South East Melbourne Phoenix have promoted guard Daniel Foster to their main roster ahead of the Hungry Jack’s NBL26 Season.

Foster joined the Phoenix in April as a development player but has earned his spot with consistent effort and strong performances in practice.

He made his first appearance for the club during the CODE Sports NBL Blitz, after completing his college career in the NCAA with the Nevada Wolf Pack.

Phoenix General Manager of Basketball Operations Simon Mitchell praised the 24-year-old’s growth, attitude, and work ethic since joining the team.

“Since signing with the Phoenix in a development role, Daniel has quickly earned the respect of his teammates and coaching staff,” Mitchell said.

“Daniel brings a great attitude, competes at a high level, and is a fantastic teammate. We’re really looking forward to his continued development over the next two years.”

Foster officially locks in the final spot on the Phoenix’s roster for NBL26.
