Melbourne United star Chris Goulding will return from a calf injury on Saturday night, after missing seven games this season.

The veteran will line up against the Taipans in Cairns, a timely boost against one of the League’s form sides.

Goulding last played on September 24, when he scored 17 points in 24 minutes.

Melbourne sits sixth on the NBL standings, two spots behind the fourth-placed Taipans, who won the last meeting between the teams in early October.

Elsewhere, Adelaide’s Matt Kenyon will return from a back injury to face the New Zealand Breakers on Friday night.

The news isn't so good for Tasmania’s Majok Deng, who will miss a further six weeks due to a fractured fibula. He last played on September 21.
