Europcar: Official Car Rental Partner

The NBL today announced that Europcar will continue MOVING YOUR WAY as the Official Car Rental partner to the NBL for the 2016/17 NBL season.

NBL General Manager Jeremy Loeliger was excited to add Europcar to the NBL’s list of major sponsors ahead of the 2016/17 season, stating that Europcar will prove to be a very beneficial partner as the league seeks to widen its reach. “The NBL is part of the global basketball brand and we have a strong agenda to collaborate with leagues across Asia and the US, so the international reach of Europcar is very complementary to our strategy,” he said. “With its strong presence throughout Australia and New Zealand, Europcar will also help us communicate our brand messaging to local NBL audiences, which is pivotal to attracting new fans to our great game.” Europcar Managing Director Ron Santiago also noted the importance of providing basketball fans with greater access to games through Europcar’s diverse fleet of vehicles. “Getting more people to games, more often, is not only good for the league, but good for the continued growth of the sport at a grass-roots level,” he said. The partnership will deliver significant benefits to both brands. Notably, through digital asset sharing, Europcar will gain valuable exposure to the many people in the young professional and aspirational lifestyle demographic who follow the NBL.
