After five seasons with the Sydney Kings, former captain Ben Madgen exercised his option to pursue his dream of playing in Europe ahead of the 2015/16 NBL season. Madgen signed with the Verviers-Pepinster Wolves in Belgium and is showing huge strides of success as their starting small forward; leading the Belgium-Scooore League in points with an average of 18.7 per game. Cairns Taipans captain Cam Gliddon signed a 10-week contract with Polish side AZS Koszalin in a bid to chase Olympic selection, after a career NBL season. In his first game in an AZS Koszalin uniform, Gliddon logged seven points and a team-high 34 minutes of court time in their 72-52 loss against Anwil Wloclawek. Last week Basketball Australia named Gliddon to the Australian Boomers initial 26-man squad.HIGHLIGHTS: Red Claws make a franchise record 24 three's https://t.co/8Kz5oC5kGJ #CrustaceanNation
